[ [link removed] ]Another assault weapon. Another tragedy.
On Monday night, a gunman opened fire on an office building in midtown
Manhattan with an AR-15-style assault weapon. These weapons of war have
no place on our streets.

We're dedicated to pushing for a federal assault weapons ban, stopping a
federal concealed carry mandate in its tracks, and advocating for
life-saving gun safety legislation. But we need your help. [ [link removed] ]Donate to

John-

Monday night's mass shooting was the deadliest mass shooting in New York
City in more than two decades. Four people were killed—including an
off-duty NYPD officer working security.

New York has some of the strongest gun laws in the nation. They've banned
assault weapons, strengthened Red Flag Laws, and closed dangerous
loopholes. But the gunman was still able to carry this weapon of war
across state lines, circumventing the gun safety measures that so many
people relied on.

That's the cost of inaction. We're done with thoughts and prayers from
cowardly politicians—it's time to mobilize our base of nearly 11 million
supporters to push for a federal assault weapons ban, stop a federal
concealed carry mandate, and fight back against the gun lobby’s deadly
agenda. [ [link removed] ]John: Donate to Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund

weapons!" With white text overlay that reads: "Weapons of war do not
belong on our streets!" With a red donate button.

When weapons of war are easily accessible, no place is safe from gun
violence. Weak federal gun laws and gaps between states' gun laws make New
Yorkers and all Americans less safe. Lawmakers need to step up and do
their jobs instead of playing politics with our lives.
