Melania gets a building. Mainers lose health care.

Hey John,

This month in Washington has been one of the most outrageous I’ve seen in years — and I’ve been in this fight a long time:

  • A Big Bullshit Bill that cut taxes for billionaires paid for by slashing health care for working people and food for hungry kids.

  • The guy in the White House trying to rename the Kennedy Center after his wife.

  • Backdoor budget rescissions targeting clean energy, rural broadband, climate-smart agriculture, and NPR.

  • A Republican party too scared to release files about the nation's most notorious child sex trafficker.

If that makes you as angry as it makes me, I need your help.

We’re staring down our end-of-month deadline -- and I’m facing a new Republican challenger. I don’t know yet what kind of outside spending the GOP plans to flood into Maine, but I do know we need to be ready.

Will you chip in now to help us hit our $15,000 grassroots goal?

If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

We’re fighting like hell to hold the line -- on the truth, on decency, and on the basic idea that the government should serve people, not billionaires.

But I can’t do it alone. If you’ve been waiting for the moment to jump in, this is it. We’re close to our July goal, and your donation could be what puts us over the top. Click here to chip in now.

Thank you for everything you do.
