A federal court just issued one of the most troubling rulings we’ve seen in decades:

They said that ordinary Americans, like you, can’t sue under the Voting Rights Act.

According to the court, only the Department of Justice can enforce it. That would mean stripping away the power of everyday people to challenge voter suppression and discrimination. And the case is headed to the Supreme Court.
