John,
A principal outrageously told a teacher that she was banned from praying at the flagpole – a direct attack on her constitutional rights.
TODAY is a critical deadline in a case that will determine whether our client, a dedicated teacher, can pray at her school after being instructed she could only pray "privately away from students." However, the Constitution says otherwise.
Instead of the school taking accountability for its unconstitutional policies, it has implemented delay tactics. Undeterred – we will defend our client all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary.
We recently filed at the Supreme Court for a Christian school's right to pray before football games. We also defended a Christian club that was told to remove "Good News" from its name and had its Scripture-themed posters ripped down. If we don't step in – who will?
There is a spiritual and legal battle being waged against Christians. We've taken on more than 110 religious liberty cases just like these in the last year.
And thanks to you – these clients are represented at no cost.
We're ready to fight these cases; but we need resources to fight in court, and we urgently need your support. Have your gift DOUBLED through our 35 Years of Justice Drive. Our deadline is in just about 24 hours, and we're short.
