Dear MoveOn member,
We just put up a brand-new, hard-hitting billboard in the heart of MAGA Speaker Mike Johnson’s district, blasting him for stopping the release of the Epstein files.
Just days ago, Johnson abruptly cut the House session short to avoid a vote on releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files.1 Instead of doing their jobs, Republicans in Congress fled Washington to protect the wealthy and powerful from being held accountable for their sick crimes.
That’s why MoveOn is exposing this cover-up with a hard-hitting billboard demanding “Stop the Epstein cover-up!”—which includes a damning photo of Donald Trump and the convicted sex offender—in the heart of the MAGA speaker’s district. Here’s a photo of the billboard:
The cover-up has gotten so bad that even MAGA extremists are turning on Trump and Republicans in Congress. This is our moment to turn up the heat and make the Republicans feel the pressure. But we need your help.
If we can raise enough money, we will keep our billboard up for longer, place another billboard at Mar-a-Lago so Trump is forced to see it, and flood other critical districts across the country with digital ads. Will you donate $9 right now to MoveOn’s campaign to expose the Republican Jeffrey Epstein cover-up and ensure the Epstein files are released? (If you have saved your payment information with ActBlue, your donation will go straight through.)
A new poll finds that Americans strongly disapprove of Trump’s handling of the Epstein files.2
Here’s what The Hill reports: “Just 13 percent of voters in a new Fox News poll said they think the Trump administration has been open and transparent with information in its probe of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s case.”3
The poll also found that 60 percent of Republican respondents said they do not think the administration has been transparent.4 This is a huge shift.
MoveOn is harnessing this energy by launching a multipronged campaign on this issue, including a petition calling for the release of the Epstein files that has been signed by more than 45,000 MoveOn members across the country.5
If we hit our fundraising goal, we’ll keep our billboard up longer, put one right outside Mar-a-Lago so Trump can’t miss it, and flood key districts nationwide with digital ads.
Will you donate $9 right now to MoveOn’s campaign to expose the Republican Epstein cover-up and ensure the Epstein files are released? (If you have saved your payment information with ActBlue, your donation will go straight through.)
Thanks for all you do.
