Friend,
If you know me, then you know that I won’t stop working for what I believe in, especially when the stakes are so high. Healthcare. Education. Good-paying jobs.

When I first ran for office, it took four tries to win my election and turn my district from red to blue. Flipping a district takes organizing, momentum, and grit, and it requires leaders that won’t ever stop working for their neighbors.

That’s why I don’t say this lightly: my friend Kathy Ellis is the real deal . [[link removed]] Like me, she has the tenacity, the fortitude, and the courage to confront the most difficult challenges of our time and to work tirelessly against the irresponsible and destructive tactics of Republican politicians in Missouri.

Since Kathy first ran in 2018, we’ve supported each other as both candidates and friends. Over the years, I’ve watched her campaign grow stronger as voters get to know the determined, experienced, caring person that she is. I am proud to call her a friend and to say that hers is a race worth supporting. [[link removed]]

We need Representatives in Congress who keep working, even when it’s not easy— so let’s send Kathy to Washington [[link removed]] and shake things up, for the better.

Stay safe,

Deb Lavender , State Representative
