Hi there,
When I became mayor, I said I would treat our homelessness crisis like the emergency that it is. Not with slogans but with real, human solutions.
And for the first time in nearly 20 years, we’re seeing real progress.
We’ve brought more Angelenos indoors this year than last — and homelessness is going down, not just on paper, but on our streets, in our neighborhoods, and in the lives of real people.
My mission as your mayor is to urgently move Los Angeles in a new direction. We have more work ahead of us, but I wanted to make sure you saw the historic progress we’ve made so far:
- A 17.5% drop in street homelessness since I took office.
- Encampments, tents, and makeshift shelters are down 13.5%.
- Homicides are down over 20%, on track for the lowest total in nearly 60 years.
The best part is that we’re doing this together. With locked arms, we're getting people inside, cleaning up neighborhoods, combating violent crime, and investing in real safety, prevention, and accountability.
But we’re not done. And as we head into the second half of the year, your support is what helps us keep going.
Will you chip in before our end-of-month deadline to keep this progress going?

Whether it’s housing, public safety, or long-overdue investment in our communities — I’m all in for LA. Because this is home. And we’re in this together.
Thank you for standing with me,
