We’re less than a month away from another 2025 Iowa special election. The way we see it — this is Democrats’ fourth chance this year to overperform expectations, and we’re more than ready to flip SD-01.
Not only would electing a Democrat to this seat give us more power in Des Moines to work for Iowan families, but we cannot afford to let the GOP candidate win.
Catelin Drey is the Democrat running against Republican Christopher Prosch for this seat, and her priorities are entirely different. She is running on a platform to bring down costs, and she wants to invest in public education, affordable childcare, and more.

Prosch is all around bad news, and his record proves that he will continue the same failed leadership that has misguided our state. He’s on tape saying the following:

There’s only one candidate in this race that will focus on the issues that matter, and that candidate is Catelin. With only four weeks until Election Day, we need to get the word out to voters ASAP about why they should support Catelin.
