I am not a fan of the clearly-not-written-by-the-person-signing-them emails. So let me first verify, these are my fingers typing this out.

Now, to the unusual part.

This is no generic note. It also is not a fundraising outreach. We are looking for something else.

Frankly, PBS had a tough July. Congress and the president moved to cut our federal funding entirely, as is their right.

Now we move forward. And by “we,” I mean you and me, our newsletter community. Us.

Thus, we are gathering together to give specifics on what people can do.
