Hi there – earlier this month, I announced that I'm running for Senate to give Texas families the leadership we deserve.

We've already hit the ground running, crisscrossing the state from Fort Worth to Houston, McAllen to Amarillo, to meet voters where they are!

Since launching this campaign, I've spent a lot of time on the road talking with Texans about the challenges we're facing – things like skyrocketing costs for housing, child care, and health care, worries about our kids' education, and leaders who are prioritizing tax cuts for their billionaire donors instead of fighting for hardworking families.

In all of these places, I'm hearing time and time again that folks are fired up and ready for change. And the experts agree – after multiple polls showed me with a lead, The Hill just named this one of the five most competitive races in the country.

But here's the bad news: Republicans are already raising millions of dollars and attacking me to keep their grip on Texas and to be totally honest with you, right now I don't have the resources to make sure we can fight back.
