It’s easy to feel defeated these days with
the policies coming out of Washington nearly every day. 

Pickpocketing the middle class to put even more money in billionaires’
pockets. Cutting critical jobs at agencies that keep our country running.
Destroying cornerstones of the middle class like Social Security,
Medicaid, and public education. 

You and I know there’s another path. But it’s going to require fighting
back, and taking back our Senate majority. 

Just today, Roy Cooper announced he’s running for Senate in North Carolina
— in what will be a highly competitive race. Under his leadership as
governor, Roy passed pay raises for public school teachers, built a strong
economy by investing in clean energy and in North Carolinians, and
expanded Medicaid — covering more than 650,000 more people.

Put simply: He’s the kind of leader working families need in Washington
right now.

North Carolina’s Senate election is set to be the most competitive of
2026, with The Hill rating this the most likely Senate seat to flip
red-to-blue. Winning this seat is essential to our chances of taking back
the Senate.

But that means Republicans are ready to do everything possible to stop
Democrats from winning this state, with Donald Trump already handpicking
RNC Chair Michael Whatley to run against him. 

Roy Cooper is someone who’ll fight to defend Medicaid, secure voting
rights, invest in job growth, restore abortion access, and protect our
