The Lincoln Project

Friend,

This whole regime is on the verge of collapsing.

It’s amazing what a few short weeks can do.

The talking heads and third-rate experts were talking about how Trump had a substantial majority in both chambers of Congress and the Supreme Court on his side.

He even kicked off his presidency with a bang, when the Supreme Court basically told him, “you can do whatever you want with zero consequences.”

Project 2025 was well on its way to implementation. The Murder Bill passed. The world was Trump’s oyster. So what happened?

Six months in, here he sits, a failed President. Unable to control a scandal that would go away if he could only prove he wasn’t a pedophile. Crazy, yes. But also predictable.

When trying to guess Trump’s next move, people often forget to factor in Donald Trump’s blatant stupidity, criminal tendencies, and massive ego. These three things are the reason he’s in the situation he’s in.

If this scandal has taught us anything, it’s that at the end of the day, this guy will always screw up. Donald Trump hires the worst people and has the worst ideas. This presidency so far has been a massive failure, and Trump knows it.

Our focus right now is to make sure that the only thing going on inside that little orange head is chaos and anger. You know, the usual. Making sure the Epstein story stays around is step one. Help us keep making Trump mad >>
