Friend,
No donation required. Just a shared promise: to stay in the fight for equity, for truth, and for change. ([link removed])

It all starts with one belief: that justice is worth fighting for. (I know you share that belief too.)
And that belief is what inspired the Southern Poverty Law Center’s founding in 1971 and created an organization dedicated to ensuring the promise of the Civil Rights Movement will become a reality for all.

But the pursuit of justice isn’t just about lawsuits and policies, it’s rooted in a lifelong commitment to our shared values. That’s why we’re asking supporters like you to join us in making a personal impact pledge — a commitment to showing up for justice in whatever way you can, and believing that every voice, every action, and every gift matters. Our court cases have smashed remnants of Jim Crow segregation; fought against voter suppression; destroyed some of the nation’s most notorious white supremacist groups; and upheld the rights of minorities, children, women, people with disabilities, and others who faced discrimination and exploitation.
As a committed supporter of the SPLC’s fight, this is your impact. This is OUR impact. Sign the pledge now to affirm your support. ([link removed])
Here are just a few active cases that your ongoing support makes possible:
Deago Buck v. Goyim Defense League, et al. — After an antisemitic group brought a hate campaign to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2024, and targeted people believed to be Jewish or people of color, the Southern Poverty Law Center filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of a young, biracial man assaulted during the event.
League of Women Voters of Louisiana, et al. v. Landry, et al. — We filed a lawsuit on behalf of a coalition of voting rights groups against the state of Louisiana following its passage of a proof of citizenship law that violates the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).
Baez v. Dixon — The SPLC and Florida Justice Institute filed federal and state lawsuits on behalf of an incarcerated man who suffered abuse at the hands of the Florida Department of Corrections.
We hope you hold a sense of pride and community when you read about these important cases, because they would not exist without thousands upon thousands of good-hearted people like you tirelessly fighting for justice. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Andrea @ the SPLC
