Submit your intentions, August 1, Operation Storm Heaven Holy Mass offered by Cardinal Burke

Dear Friend,

On First Friday, August 1st, His Eminence, Cardinal Burke, will be offering the Operation Storm Heaven Holy Mass, and the Holy Rosary – joining all the Rosary Warriors around the world, united in prayer, knocking on heaven’s door. 

You have an opportunity to submit your intentions that His Eminence will include in the Holy Mass and Rosary on First Friday, August 1st. 

Also, I’d like to bring to your attention two upcoming events taking place at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Both of the following events are open to the public if you are able to attend:

~ Thursday, July 31: the Seventeenth Anniversary of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe’s Dedication Holy Mass at 12:15 PM Central Time. Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke will be the celebrant. The homilist will be Willem Jacobus Cardinal Eijk, Metropolitan Archbishop of Utrecht, Netherlands. Vatican journalist, Edward Pentin, in the College of Cardinals Report published this about Cardinal Eijk:

“Over the years, Eijk has become used to sometimes vehement criticism for his unabashed adherence to the Catholic Faith in all its facets, but he nevertheless provides an example for pastors who desire to “feed the flock” given them by Christ, no matter what wolves may be prowling around.” More information and the livestream link in an upcoming email.

~ Tuesday, August 5: Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco will serve as the Principal Celebrant of this Solemn Pontifical Mass celebrated in the Traditional Latin Rite. Cardinal Burke will be the homilist for this Mass, which will begin at 12:15 PM Central Time. The liturgy will feature Frank La Rocca’s acclaimed “Mass of the Americas,” combining Gregorian chant and traditional Mexican melodies, including “La Guadalupana.”  This date is the patronal feast day of the Basilica of Saint Mary Major in Rome. In 2011 Pope Benedict the XVI affiliated the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe with the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore (Saint Mary Major) in Rome. On August 5, pilgrims have the occasion to gain a Plenary Indulgence. A livestream link will be emailed at the beginning of August. 

Earlier this month, Cardinal Burke ordained six new priests for the Institute of Christ the King, Sovereign Priest in Florence, Italy. What a magnificent day for our Catholic Church!

What does that mean for us, Rosary Warriors? Our mission never ends. Pray, pray, pray for more vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.

Please take the time now to present your new or updated intentions and prayer requests for the Operation Storm Heaven Holy Mass before the 1st of August.
