Dear Jack,
Tomorrow could be a defining moment for North Carolina—and we need your help.
The General Assembly is likely to hold a crucial veto override vote on HB 805 this Tuesday, July 29th. This commonsense bill protects women and children by defining biological sex in law, safeguarding girls on school trips, blocking taxpayer-funded gender transitions, empowering parents in schools, and ensuring justice for victims of harmful gender procedures.
Governor Josh Stein vetoed it.
Now, it’s up to the legislature to override that veto—and that can only happen if enough lawmakers show up to vote. That’s why we’re emailing you. We need you to take two important steps right now to make sure that happens:
1. Join us in person in Raleigh this Tuesday, July 29th at 9:00 AM (NC General Assembly, 16 W. Jones Street, Raleigh)
This is our opportunity to stand united for truth, for parental rights, and for the protection of vulnerable children and women in our state. NC Values staff, along with supporters like you, will be there holding signs, meeting with legislators, and rallying for the override vote.
Even if the vote is delayed, your presence makes a critical impact—reminding our elected officials that North Carolinians overwhelmingly support HB 805. Let our Grassroots & Political Director, Isaac Burke, know you’re coming:

2: Take 30 seconds to email your legislator
Let your General Assembly members know you support HB 805 and urge them to attend the session and vote to override the veto. Click here to use our easy click-to-contact tool ([link removed]) .

Thank you for standing with us to defend life, family, and freedom in North Carolina.
Sincerely,
Tami & Team
