KENNEBEC COUNTY - The Maine Department of Transportation will be conducting maintenance paving on Carter Memorial Drive/Route 137 on the morning of Wednesday, July 30. This project involves maintenance paving from Carter Memorial Bridge to the intersection of Kennedy Memorial Drive. This project is part of routine efforts to ensure road safety and improve driving conditions in the area.

Drivers traveling on this section of Route 137 should expect temporary delays during paving operations. To minimize disruption and ensure the safety of both crews and drivers, traffic will be rerouted via West River Road and Abenaki Road.
