Dear MoveOn member,
Earlier this week, we shared with you the details of MoveOn's brand-new, hard-hitting billboard campaign, calling out the Republicans in Congress who voted to rip health care and food aid away from their own constituents.
As part of our 2026 midterm campaign, we plan to place these billboards in the districts with vulnerable Republicans that we need to vote out.
And thanks to the support from MoveOn members, our initial billboards are now live!
Billboards like the one holding accountable Nebraska Representative Don Bacon, who voted against health care access for people in his community. The billboard's message tells the cruel truth: "Rep. Bacon voted to cut Nebraska Medicaid for more than 70,000 people in our community." Here is a photo of the actual billboard up and running!
Now, we need your help to keep up the current billboards—and to put up more in the communities that were sold out by Republicans.
Can you start a monthly $5 donation to power MoveOn's truth-telling billboards and our efforts to flip the House in 2026?
Yes, I'll chip in $5 a month. (If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.)
No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.
Your donation will help us hold accountable the Republicans who ripped away health care from millions of Americans to give tax cuts to billionaires—and make sure they lose their seats in a historic blue wave in 2026.
It's cruel and unconscionable that these Republican senators and representatives rammed through Donald Trump's budget bill, causing their own constituents to lose access to their health care—and causing children and seniors to lose access to food.
Now, more people will become uninsured and have to go to the emergency room when they're sick—risking medical bankruptcy—or be denied lifesaving care altogether.1 And demand at food pantries is expected to surge, straining them to the breaking point.2 All to give tax breaks to Trump, corporations, and the ultra rich.
We're calling out Republicans for their heartless votes. And we're going directly into the affected communities to inform, engage, and organize voters, so that in 2026, these Republicans will be voted out of office.
Alongside our billboard campaign, MoveOn is going on a nationwide tour, called "Won't Back Down." The tour will kick off in Phoenix, Arizona, then followed by a stop in Omaha, Nebraska—targeting the most winnable swing districts in the country. We'll be joined by progressive leaders, including Senators Elizabeth Warren and Chris Murphy, and Representatives Jasmine Crockett, Yassamin Ansari, and Maxwell Frost.
Already, MoveOn members have stepped up and funded our first two tour stops and several billboards. But there are so many more districts that we need to get to. We need to make sure that people there know the truth about their Republican lawmakers—and we need to help them start organizing now for the 2026 midterms.
Can you chip in $5 a month to help us put up more billboards, fund more "Won't Back Down" tour stops, and do much more to hold Republicans accountable and take back control of the House in 2026?
Yes, I'll chip in $5 a month. (If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.)
No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.
The moment we're in is undeniably challenging. But for more than a quarter of a century, MoveOn members and MoveOn have joined together against seemingly unbeatable odds—and won.
Together, we've successfully fought against MAGA extremism. In 2018, fueling a historic blue wave, we helped 40 new Democrats win seats in the House of Representatives.
In 2026, we'll power another blue wave. We're grateful that we're able to count on you.
Thanks for all you do.
