Hello, True Texans!
It's been quite a week -- and not one for Texans to be proud of. Frustrated by the vulgarity surrounding our own State Rep, Giovanni Capriglione, my husband and I co-wrote a commentary. We called it "Swamp Culture: It's not just Gio."
I urge you to read it and be overwhelmed like we are by the cumulative actions of our elected officials. If they are to be held to a higher standard, they are failing miserably. What do we do? Read it and find out.
On The Air Fran and I joined Chris Salcedo on his radio show this week as his part in helping promote our Red, White, & True Texan challenge. How thoughtful was that??? Listen in here starting at the 1-hour mark. It's a 20-min segment.
New Home Group! We're opening a new TTP@Home group! This one is in Kingwood. We have many around the state, and more all the time. We don't give out details publicly (because there are so many crazies!), but reply to this email if you're interested in joining one, and I'll hook you up. Home groups are currently in Burleson, Cross Plains, Denison, Ennis, Florence, Lampasas, Lubbock, Kingwood, NRH, and Weatherford. Or maybe YOU would like to start one in YOUR town. Contact me!
Keep Up With The Special Session The special session will move too fast to only share info on Fridays as we do during regular session. Watch for Facebook and X posts from Fran Rhodes with action items where you're needed.
