The Late Show has been a CBS flagship for more than a decade. Colbert has used his platform to speak truth to power, especially when it comes to Trump’s attacks on our democracy and on states like California.
But now his voice is being cut off as part of a larger ploy; Trump and his allies try to silence anyone who speaks out.
We all have a part to play in standing up to authoritarianism. When one voice is targeted, the rest of us have to speak up louder.
