This might be a question you don’t get often: What was your favorite book growing up?

I fondly remember “Loveable Lyle (the Crocodile)” and “Little Toot” when I was a new reader — and then ALL the Nancy Drew books when I was a bit older.

Every kid deserves the opportunity to fall in love with reading like I did and find their favorite book — that’s why Aimee and I are so excited to be partnering with the queen herself, Dolly Parton.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has been successful nationwide in delivering books to kids (mailed to their homes regularly) from the time they’re born until they’re 5 years old.

This innovative program supports our efforts to improve early childhood literacy, prepares kids for kindergarten, and builds foundational, positive connections with reading to ensure our kids are life-long learners.
