Media Dogpiles on Shapiro’s Taxpayer-Funded Self-Promotion
Gov. Josh Shapiro wants to be in the spotlight, but he also wants to keep his misdeeds in the dark. All the while, the governor expects taxpayers to finance the costly endeavor of managing his political brand.
Fortunately, the media has started to take notice of Shapiro’s publicly funded vanity and opaqueness.

The Myths and Misinformation of Medicaid
Gov. Josh Shapiro isn’t pleased with the recent passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB).
“Pennsylvania got screwed,” he recently told a crowd in York, Pa., citing his concerns about how the bill “slashed Medicaid.”
Contrary to the governor’s claim, Medicaid will still grow. Undoubtedly, the program’s baseline will shrink when OBBB goes into effect. However, the Congressional Budget Office found that federal Medicaid spending will still grow by 50 percent over the next decade.

Shapiro Shouldn't Get In the Way of PA's Energy Momentum
All eyes were on Pennsylvania last week for the “Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit” – an event highlighting what role the commonwealth’s energy sector will play in the future of artificial intelligence and other technological advancements. The event featured prominent political figures, such as President Donald Trump, U.S. Sen. David McCormick, and Gov. Josh Shapiro.
Yet, one of these things is most certainly not like the others – especially when it comes to energy policy. Shapiro, the lone Democrat to present at the forum, stood out like a vegetarian at a McDonald’s. But this stark contrast had little to do with his partisan affiliation and everything to do with the governor’s antithetical energy platform.
