Los Angeles has faced a lot recently — federal troops on our streets, a lawsuit from the Trump Administration, and growing attempts to divide and intimidate our city.

Despite everything, we’ve still achieved great progress over the last few weeks.

Homicides in our city are on track to hit their lowest point in nearly 60 years. For a second straight year, our homeless population has declined below nationwide trends. We are leading the fastest rebuilding response in California history. 

Housed or unhoused, newcomer or longtime Angeleno, no matter where you live or what language you speak, I am always fighting for you. 

Everything we’ve accomplished wasn’t built in a day. Your grassroots support was integral to our progress, including fighting back against Trump in the courts, tackling violent crimes and bringing people inside, and protecting our city from this administration’s extremism.
