Fact: The number of members of Congress with military experience continues to decrease to only 96 as of 2018.
Fact: Representation is the first step to making big progress for any group.
Fact: We need members of Congress who will take care of our veterans – from preventing for-profit college from taking advantage of our vets to making sure the VA is not privatized.
That’s why Mark Takano and some of his fellow Veterans’ Affairs Committee members have joined forces to create Go for Broke for Veterans. Their aim is to support the re-election of members who understand the struggles of our nation’s heroes and elect new veterans to Congress.
But we can’t do it without you. We still need to raise $3,272 by MIDNIGHT to launch this initiative and support veterans. Will you submit your buy-in now?

Named for his great uncle’s World War II Japanese-American combat team, Go for Broke for Veterans (GB4V) is spearheaded by Congressman Mark Takano, Chair of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee.
The goal of Go for Broke for Veterans (GB4V) is to ensure that veterans have a powerful voice in Congress. By empowering veterans, raising awareness and building public support for a pro-veteran agenda, GB4V is focused on increasing access to affordable healthcare, secure housing and ongoing educational opportunities for our nation’s heroes.
