Let’s be real, we all know who’s pulling the strings in IA-01 — and it’s not Mariannette Miller-Meeks.
Miller-Meeks falls in line with Donald Trump and Republicans in Washington. She voted to cut Medicaid for over 113,000 Iowans, supported the big, bad budget busting bill, and sold out Iowa working families to hand out tax breaks to billionaires.
She doesn’t look out for Iowa’s best interests, and her constituents are starting to see right through her puppet act.
Recent polling shows that Miller-Meeks is losing popularity and her approval ratings are tanking. 45% of IA-01 constituents disapprove of Miller-Meeks, while only 31% approve.
In 2024, IA-01 was the narrowest victory by a House Republican in the entire country — Miller-Meeks won by a sheer 799 votes. This cycle we’ve got a real chance to flip this district, but we know that national Republicans will do whatever and spend whatever it takes to keep their rubber stamp in Congress.
