Ten years ago, Pamela Merritt and I, sat outside of a Panera and officially pushed the button to put Reproaction into the world. We were small but mighty with lofty goals. We wanted to create an organization that utilized direct action to push for more, not be satisfied with compromises and “big tent” politics. We wanted to create a community of like-minded people dedicated to ending the anti-abortion movement.

We wanted to increase access to abortion and advance reproductive justice everywhere.

For ten years, we’ve worked towards these goals. We’ve taken elected officials to task, whether they were traditionally considered friend or foe. We pushed for more, knowing that Roe was the floor not the ceiling, years before the Dobbs decision. We defied the status quo with bold actions from marches to protests to billboards to petitions.
