We launched our Summer Reading Challenge this week. The goal is to keep LGBTQ+ writers and stories front and center as lawmakers try to tuck them into the shadows.

But we won't let that happen. And you can help. Just by starting a fundraiser.

Whether you're reading queer books, promoting queer stories, or you just want to see LGBTQ+ youth thriving because they see themselves reflected in words, you're helping to keep our life-affirming work alive. 

We are five days into a 42 day challenge and almost 20% of the way to our fundraising goal.

Bottom line — we have 37 more days to step up the support and make a real difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth. Queer kids who will be heading to school and looking for a community of people to surround them. A community made up of allies, peers, and characters who they meet through queer stories.
