I’m proud to once again support the Raise the Wage Act, which would raise the federal minimum wage to $17 for more than 22 million Americans. It’s long overdue, and if we want an economy that works for everyone, not just CEOs and shareholders, we have to make this law.

But we know how Republicans in Congress operate, they stall, obstruct, and protect corporate profits at all costs. They’ve fought every effort to raise wages, and now they’re doing everything they can to take back the House.
