When I first ran for the U.S. Senate, I ran to clean up Washington and deliver results for working Coloradans—and in my nearly 16 years in the Senate, we’ve done quite a bit of housekeeping.
From passing the Affordable Care Act, expanding the Child Tax Credit, and protecting Colorado’s iconic public lands, to investing in clean energy and public infrastructure (just to name a few at the top of the list), we’ve been able to deliver real accomplishments for our state and our country.
But I’m certainly not done yet.
With President Trump and Congressional Republicans passing laws that actively hurt working families here in Colorado, I’m on the front lines fighting back.
It’s why I’m running for governor. I know the most effective way we can continue fighting back against this administration and improving the lives of Coloradans is by working together right here at home.
Here in Colorado, we can build more housing, lower the cost of healthcare, and revitalize our education system so that all our kids can thrive. We can protect our public lands from those who want to sell them off for development. We can build an economy that works for all of us, not just the wealthy few. I know in Colorado, we can forge a better politics than what we see in Washington and drive a stake through Trumpism.
Folks, it’s a tall order, but I wouldn’t be in this race if I didn’t think we could accomplish these goals. I know we can get it done, but we’ll need to do it together. Are you with me?
