I know — you’ve heard a lot from us about this special session. But when Greg Abbott uses a tragedy to push political games? We’re not going to shut up.

Just this week, the Legislature gaveled in for a special session Abbott claims is about flood relief. But the truth? It’s a calculated cover-up.

Instead of focusing on recovery for the families still reeling from the deadly floods, Abbott jammed through a secretive 18-point agenda full of red meat for far-right donors:

• Redistricting to help Trump dilute Blue votes to save the GOP House majority
• THC bans and attacks on local control
