John,
When I joined the Marines after 9/11, I knew it would be tough. But what I didn’t know was how deeply it would shape the way I see the world and how I serve in Congress today.

In the Marines, each of us are expected to carry our own weight, watch each other’s backs, and get the job done as a team. In combat, you can’t hide from a tough situation. You don’t leave people behind. And you sure as hell don’t put yourself first.
That’s the kind of leadership I believe in. And it’s how I approach every decision I make in Congress. My military service shaped who I am. And every day, I carry those values with me as I fight for the people of Maine.
If you agree we need leaders who put others before themselves, I’m hoping you’ll send in a donation right now to help me keep up the fight in Congress. [[link removed]]
