[1]Eugene Vindman for Congress
Speaker Mike Johnson just cut the House session short — not because of an emergency, not to serve the public — but to avoid a vote on releasing Jeffrey Epstein’s files.
Let me say that again: Republican leadership ended the House session early to block a vote on transparency in one of the most disturbing abuse cases in modern history. Why? To protect Trump and his buddies’ roles in the case.
Republicans campaigned on lowering costs, but have only made life harder for working families. Republicans said they wouldn't touch Medicaid, but voted for the largest cuts in history. No action to make life more affordable. Another broken promise from MAGA Republicans.
That’s not governing. That’s obstruction.
Trump campaigned on releasing these files. He promised his supporters that the elite involved in these crimes would be exposed and face consequences.
But now that the American people, including his own base, are demanding accountability, his MAGA cronies are helping him hide the truth.
This isn’t about politics. It’s about justice, transparency, and protecting future victims.
I’ve always believed in the rule of law and accountability. That’s why I blew the whistle on Trump’s abuse of power. That’s why I led a bipartisan letter holding him to account on Ukraine. And that’s why I’m calling on Congress to reconvene and release the Epstein files immediately.
Will you stand with me and add your name to my petition demanding the release of these files? We need to prove that the public demands the truth, no matter who is involved.

Speaker Johnson may be willing to protect powerful people — including Donald Trump — but I’m not. And I won’t stop fighting for transparency and accountability.
Let’s make sure they hear us.
