This is part two of our plan. Together, we can forge a path forward.

Hi Friend,
You probably know by now how terrible Trump’s budget is for our ability to put more clean energy onto the grid and stave off harmful pollution.
But you know what else his regime is coming after? All the progress we’ve made when it comes to clean, affordable transportation options.
Whether that means rescinding federal rules that limit deadly transportation pollution or going after states’ rights to set their own vehicle emissions standards, Trump and his Big Oil backers are doubling down on their crimes against our communities just so they can rake in extra profits.
That’s why—along with our plan to help get more affordable clean energy online in the states—Evergreen is prioritizing state-level policy solutions that make transportation cleaner, more reliable, and more affordable. This includes protecting state authority from federal rollbacks and advancing policies that not only ensure electric vehicles are cheaper and more accessible, but also bolster and expand reliable public transit in states like Pennsylvania and Michigan.
But for Evergreen to go all in, we need to meet our goal of raising $15,000 before the end of this month. Will you make a contribution right now to help us get there? ([link removed])

Everyone deserves access to clean, affordable, and convenient transit—including cleaner cars, reliable buses and trains, and safe walking and biking routes. These options save people money and time while reducing air pollution.
At the same time, we must invest in the clean technologies of the future to keep America competitive as the world races to more modern transportation systems. Our work must ensure those investments benefit everyday people, not just industry.
Our strategy to get there is ambitious, but with your support, here’s what we can do:
Convince new governors in 2025 and 2026 to appoint climate-forward transportation officials via the Clean RIDES Network, which includes over 100 labor, climate, and health organizations working to promote cleaner transportation options that curb harmful air pollution, cut costs and congestion for commuters, and connect our communities.
Get leading Michigan gubernatorial candidates to embrace a unified state transportation policy agenda that spans both vehicle electrification and public transit—focused on jobs, cost savings, consumer choice, and health.
Push Pennsylvania lawmakers to secure the passage of additional funding for SEPTA and other public transit networks across the Commonwealth that are facing extreme service cuts and fare hikes.
Elevate the success of New York’s groundbreaking congestion pricing policy in the national media and work to protect the program’s authority in federal law.
It’s a lot to accomplish, especially with deep-pocketed opponents like the oil industry, truck manufacturers, automakers, and the highway construction industry, who will be fighting progress every step of the way. But with your help, I know we can do it.
Every dollar you give right now will allow Evergreen to dive deep into solutions for the transportation sector with what we do best: in-depth policy roadmaps for decision-makers, best-in-class communications work, and strategic advocacy campaigns with movement partners to make those policies a reality.
Whether you’re brand new to our movement or have been with us since the beginning, I hope you can help us meet our goal of $15,000 by July 31 by making a gift today. ([link removed])
