Friend: The headlines say it all. House Republicans just shut down Congress early to avoid a tough vote calling on the Trump administration to release the Epstein files.

Let me be very clear: While House Republicans play political games and cover for Trump, Michigan families are left without leadership in Congress. And to make matters worse, they’re letting critical issues — from Medicaid and SNAP cuts to the cost of living crisis — fall by the wayside.
