Somerset Ave Bridge Deck Replacement Project in Pittsfield [ [link removed] ] 07/22/2025 10:56 AM EDT
PITTSFIELD - The Maine Department of Transportation will be conducting work on I-95 southbound and northbound over Webb Road and Somerset Ave starting Monday, August 4. Somerset Ave work begins on August 4. Work lower the interstate between Somerset Ave and Webb Road begins after Labor Day. The project area begins at Webb Road I-95 northbound and southbound mile marker 148 and extends to mile marker 151 near Somerset Ave I-95 northbound and southbound. The work is approximately scheduled to be completed by June 2028.

This project will replace bridge decks on northbound and southbound bridges over Webb Road and Somerset Ave as staged construction with barriers and lower Somerset Ave and Webb Road. Drivers may encounter a single lane of alternating traffic through the project area. The contractor on this project is NorthEast Paving of Eurovia Atlantic Coast, LLC of Bangor, Maine.
