Join us as we bring communities together to celebrate CommuniTree Festival : Music in the Park 2025
Date : Sunday 10th August 2025
Time: 12 – 5 pm (Last admission 4 pm)
PRICE: £2.35 per person (includes booking fee) – Pre-booked tickets in advance apply.
On the day tickets: £5 (plus 50p booking fee) – subject to availability.
Typically these events sell out quickly, any additional walk up tickets are not guaranteed and are subject to venue capacity decided on the day.
 Performances by :
Enjoy live performances from Berber Diffusion, Kaykay & Co, Grace Chidima, Jaguza (featuring guitarist Mr. will) and will sing Swahili numbers, and Musa Mboob & Xam Xam, along with more fantastic artists throughout the day. We’re also delighted to showcase music and dance by talented students from Nottingham Asian Arts Council Music and Dance Academy.
Creative Workshops at CommuniTree Festival – Something for Everyone!
Get stuck in and explore your creativity with a brilliant range of free workshops running throughout the day! Try your hand at circus skills, dive into rainforest- and sustainability-themed arts and crafts, and move your body with Moroccan dance and salsa sessions for all ages. You can join in with djembe drumming for all ages, learn traditional Berber songs, or simply take a breather in our relaxed chill-out zone, perfect for a little festival time-out. Whether you’re making, moving or just taking it all in, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
The event will feature a global marketplace, with a variety of food stalls, music, and entertainment for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a full afternoon of performances, creative workshops, and cultural experiences. Charges for food and stalls apply.
This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event and we kindly ask that no meat is brought or sold on site. Vegetarian and Vegan meals will be available to purchase. You’re very welcome to bring your own picnic and enjoy it in the grounds.
Location: Formal Gardens in Wollaton Park – entrance in front of the Hall.
Parking: Any standard parking area on site, the nearest is the over spill car park directly opposite the event. Parking charges apply.

Nottingham Mela In The Park – Sunday 14th September 2025, Formal Gardens Wollaton Park
Nottingham’s South Asian Festival of Art and Culture returns this September. Music, dance, food, arts and crafts bring the sights, sounds and spicy aromas of South Asia to Wollaton Park in Nottingham.
Nottingham Mela is an annual celebration presented by Nottingham Mela Network. Nottingham Mela Network is a partnership between Nottingham Asian Arts Council, Nottingham City Council and New Art Exchange.
Nottingham Mela will be taking place from 11th – 14th September. Be sure to look out for events taking place at NAE from 11th-13th September and the grand finale at Wollaton Hall on Sunday 14th September with a great line up of confirmed artists: Kaafi & Arijit, Selina Dancers, Rahul Christian, Tushar Deshpande, Kay Kay & Fusion Band, Navin Kundra and not forgetting our very own local talented students and tutors from the NAAC Music & Dance Academy...
We are thrilled to welcome an extraordinary talent to Nottingham Mela - the sensational Navin Kundra! A multi award winning singer, songwriter, and performer, Navin has captivated audiences across the globe with his powerhouse vocals and electrifying stage presence. With multiple chart-topping singles, including hits like “Tere Liye”, “Mehbooba”, and the recent smash “Na Ja”, Navin has made history as one of the most successful British Asian artists in the UK. He has broken a Guinness World Record with his music and performed for King Charles and Queen Camilla at Buckingham Palace - a true icon who bridges East and West through his music.
