It's worth noting that these notes, taken in a January 5, 2017 meeting, mention Joe Biden as well. Biden has previously said he was uninvolved in the Flynn investigation and didn't know anything about it.

But as The Federal reported, these notes mention that "Biden explicitly referenced the Logan Act, an 18th-century law that forbids certain political speech from private citizens."

The votes aren't 100% in yet due to a dramatic increase in absentee voting this year. But it looks like Rep. Eliot Engel will lose to Jamaal Bowman once the election is called.

Engel is chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and he's been in Congress since 1989. He received a "who's who" of endorsements: Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer, while Bowman received endorsements from Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), and even the New York Times.

But it looks like the showdown between the progressive and establishment wings of the Democratic Party has been decided. The progressives have won -- and taken over the party.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is the youngest Member of Congress at age 30. But if Madison Cawthorn wins the general election this fall, that title will go to him. He'll turn 25 in August, and 25 is the minimum age for a House member as set in the Constitution.

Cawthorn won the Republican primary in the district formerly represented by Mark Meadows, now the White House Chief of Staff.

As the National Review reports <[link removed]> , "Cawthorn is a real estate investor who was nominated at age 18 by Meadows for an appointment at the United States Naval Academy. However, a car crash left Cawthorn paralyzed from the waist down."

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is the youngest Member of Congress at age 30. But if Madison Cawthorn wins the general election this fall, that title will go to him. He'll turn 25 in August, and 25 is the minimum age for a House member as set in the Constitution.
