Hey Team, it's Sidney, Julie's Finance Director. Our next FEC fundraising deadline is coming up at the end of this month — just six days from today. After we get there, we will report our numbers to the public.

Here's why this is a big deal: Everybody from the press to Roger Williams and his corporate special interests will dig into our FEC report, looking to see if we're really putting together the resources needed to win.

While Julie more than anyone wishes that the strength of campaigns wasn’t measured by how much we can raise, it's the reality of the post-Citizens United world we find ourselves in. So let's make it a show of our strength:

As of today, we still need to raise $30,000 to make this quarter — the second-to-last before Election Day — our biggest yet. Will you rush a contribution of $5 or more today to help us get there?

We've made so much progress since we launched this campaign — from recent endorsements from Elizabeth Warren and Julián Castro, to building a team and recruiting hundreds of volunteers. 

Unfortunately, Roger Williams has an arsenal of corporate PAC money and personal wealth to count on. He's going to try and drown us out with hundreds of television ads, but we can fight back by doubling down on our strategy to register and reach as many undecided voters as possible in our district.
