But we couldn’t stop the GOP’s latest assault: They pushed through their extreme budget bill that guts incentives for wind and solar, hikes your electric bills, and sets us back decades.
Yes, it’s a huge blow to our clean energy movement… but now the stakes for the 2026 elections couldn’t be any clearer. It’s no secret how bad and unpopular this bill is. So now it’s time for us to go on offense and turn this into a weapon against Republicans in Congress who voted for this.
This legislation is going to have terrible ramifications for our environment, our climate, and our cost of living. The only winners are billionaires and fossil fuel companies!
Despite their best efforts to delay the impacts of this bill until after the 2026 election, the American people will see this for what it is: a blatant attack on our clean energy movement and a giant giveaway to the ultra-rich.
Sometimes offense is the best defense. Now it’s time to fight back — and win.
