John, greedy billionaires and corporations have run our lives and dictated our choices for long enough.

We feel it at the pharmacy as pharmaceutical giants jack up prescription prices at a moment’s notice. We see it at the grocery store when massive retailers hike up the price of essentials that were affordable a year or two ago. And we feel it when corporations raise the rent to keep people living paycheck to paycheck.

You name it, billionaires and big corporations are putting us in the back seat of our own lives. It's time for us to take our control back.

That’s why I’m heading up a Congressional task force to give people more control over their lives and protect working people from giant corporations and predatory billionaires.

It’s past time we give people fairness and an even playing field. That’s not too much to ask for.

Real reform is needed, and my task force is heading the effort to unrig the system. We are committed to fighting for a different future for all of us, one in which we feel a sense of control over our lives. We can and will do this, John. But we can’t do it alone.
