It’s been six months since Jon Husted was handed a Senate seat by Mike DeWine — and in that time, he’s done exactly what was expected of him: sold out Ohio to billionaires, dark-money donors, and the Trump machine.

Let’s check his report card:

Voted for Trump’s “Big Ugly Bill.” This law slashes $1 trillion from Medicaid and $186 billion from food assistance, while handing massive tax cuts to the richest 1%. Husted bragged it was “pro-family” while laughing with corporate lobbyists. He posted it. Then deleted it. He knows it’s a lie.

Sided with extremists to make abortion harder to afford. In one of his first moves as senator, Husted backed a bill to make the Hyde Amendment permanent — banning federal funds from covering abortion and even limiting some birth control coverage. It’s exactly the kind of extreme, anti-choice agenda Ohioans rejected when we passed an amendment enshrining the right to an abortion in our state constitution, but Husted doesn’t care — he’s doing what the far-right wants, not what Ohio voted for.
