Summer turkey survey

We may be in the lull between the spring and fall turkey seasons, but there is a good reason to keep an eye out for turkeys. Our summer turkey brood survey is underway and both hunters and the public are encouraged to participate.

The survey information provides useful information and estimates of nesting success and survival of young turkeys, or poults, during the summer season. The survey runs July 1 to August 31.
