John,

America has some of the best and brightest minds in the world when it comes to climate, energy, science, and innovation. We should be listening to their warnings and taking action — not replacing them with political hacks and climate deniers.

But what happens when you gut climate research and cancel federal science grants?

You silence the very people who can actually help us solve the climate crisis and replace them with those who deny it even exists. That’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing.

SEEC members are fighting back, but we can’t do it without your support! Will you chip in now to help us keep fighting for truth, science, and real solutions? [[link removed]]

DONATE $5 » [[link removed]]This week, SEEC Vice Chair Don Beyer stood beside Nobel Prize winners and dozens of top researchers whose work was defunded by the Trump Administration.

He said, “Our great nation has been the envy of the world... Now, our leadership is at risk.”

He’s exactly right… the Department of Energy has hired a team of notorious climate deniers — including Steven Koonin, John Christy, and Roy Spencer — who are known for specifically going against the overwhelming scientific consensus and have spent years undermining climate action.

Let’s be clear: This is an all-out assault on science, and it’s not happening by accident. It’s part of a coordinated effort to dismantle environmental protections, discredit expert consensus, and delay our climate progress.

SEEC PAC is fighting back, but we need your support. Your donation helps power our efforts to elect and defend climate champions like Rep. Don Beyer and our 100 SEEC members of Congress who are standing up for truth and science.

If you believe science should lead our future — not conspiracy and corruption — now is the time to act. Donate now to help our SEEC members keep up the fight! [[link removed]]

Thanks for fighting alongside us,

— SEEC PAC Team

Thanks to your help in 2024, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 119th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand.
