And I’m going to keep it real with you: We have a lot of work ahead of us if we want to take back power in Congress next year.

I’m not one to wallow in doom and gloom about the future — even though it’s tough to see the light right now.

I’d much rather roll up my sleeves and get to work to fix the mess that we’re in right now.

That’s why I’m doing everything I can to spread Democrats’ message of hope, progress, equality, democracy, and opportunity — while calling out the Republicans’ agenda of hate, divisiveness, and suffering.

But I can’t wage this fight alone — and it’s clear our message isn’t reaching all the people it needs to.
