PUSH Buffalo was awarded $20 million by the federal government to fund a project that would build hubs in under-resourced neighborhoods that would help communities weather blackouts and other emergencies, especially in snowy New York winters. This project is part of the Environmental and Climate Justice Grant Program created by the Inflation Reduction Act meant to address longstanding pollution issues and invest in community resilience. Read about other community projects that had their grants unlawfully terminated and which were slated in your community.
