John – The big bill passed by the Majority earlier this month shows us what happens when hyperpartisanship and special interests hold the reins in Congress:

Small Washington hospitals brace for ‘severe’ effects of Medicaid cuts
“As many as 250,000 residents could lose Medicaid coverage in Washington. That reduction would mean fewer patients can pay at hospitals that are already struggling.”

Frankly, it’s ridiculous. And if we don’t protect seats like ours and flip the House next year, we’re in store for more special favors for special interests while everyday Americans are left carrying the bag.
Extremists have started launching attacks against me earlier than ever, in hopes of flipping WA-03 – we need to fight back. Can I count on you to help us prepare for anything they throw at us on the road ahead? We need to raise another $20,000 by midnight tomorrow to stay on track for the month:

I’m already facing an ultra-competitive re-election fight. But in the meantime, rest assured that I’ll keep working across the aisle to uphold our shared values and deliver results on the issues that really matter to Southwest Washingtonians, whether it’s bringing down everyday costs, uplifting the middle class, or supporting rural communities.
We have a lot of work to do – and I’m grateful to have you on our team as we continue forging ahead.
