Let me be honest with you: Trump’s “Big Ugly Bill” was one of the worst pieces of legislation I’ve ever voted on.
As a doctor, I’ve cared for patients who depend on Medicaid to manage chronic conditions and stay healthy. This bill slashes critical funding, hands out giveaways to billionaires, and shortchanges working families across California.
That’s not progress — and I couldn’t support it in good conscience.
Now, because I spoke out, special interests are lining up to target this seat. They want to replace me with someone who will fall in line and rubber-stamp their agenda.
Our mid-month goal is $5,971, and we’re counting on grassroots supporters like you to help defend this seat.
