Notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division received an amendment request on July 16, 2025 from Pacific Soda, LLC (Permittee) regarding the Dry Creek Trona Project in Sweetwater County. The Permittee is requesting a change to the expected construction start date from third quarter 2025 to on or before December 31, 2026.
Pursuant to Condition #11 of their permit, the Administrator is providing public notice of the requested amendment to permit DEQ/ISC 20-08. It is the Director's intention to authorize the change on or after August 12, 2025, unless the Division receives a request from parties to the permit by 5:00 pm on August 11, 2025 that this matter be heard by the Council. If the Division receives a request to be heard by the Council, this matter will be heard at the meeting on August 12, 2025.
