Silencer sales are already up 265%—and now, they're about to skyrocket thanks to Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill."

Silencers are dangerous. These gun accessories make it easier for people to fire deadly rounds undetected and harder for law enforcement to respond. Now, Republicans in Congress and Trump have made it easier for the first time in almost 100 years to purchase silencers—and the gun lobby is predicting a wave of new sales.

This is the gun lobby's plan. Fewer barriers. More deadly devices. More profits for the gun industry. And they're not stopping—the gun lobby is pushing other bills to fully deregulate silencers and other dangerous weapons, like short-barreled rifles and shotguns and other concealable firearms.
