I just introduced the Bringing Executive Accountability, Clarity, and Oversight Now (BEACON) Act to add an inspector general to the Executive Office of the President.

Because there must be accountability and oversight over the executive branch — especially with this White House.

John, inspectors general conduct important independent oversight throughout different agencies in the executive branch.

But the same is not true when it comes to the President and the White House — where there is no inspector general… yet.

I'm working to change that. My new bill would create an IG overseeing the Executive Office of the President and crack down on corruption in the Oval Office and beyond.
