Virginia Democrats Launch 2025 Coordinated Campaign: “Operation Virginia Victory.” [[link removed]] The Democratic Party of Virginia (DPVA) recently announced the launch of “Operation Virginia Victory,” a coordinated campaign that will help elect Democratic candidates across the Commonwealth in November 2025. Operation Virginia Victory’s goals are clear. From now until November, the coordinated campaign will work to elect Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger for Governor, Senator Ghazala Hashmi for Lieutenant Governor, Delegate Jay Jones for Attorney General, House of Delegates candidates in 100 seats across the Commonwealth, and Democratic candidates down the ballot.

Sunday, July 27: Be A Big Part Of Team Walkinshaw's Big Day!
* 2 PM: Canvassing Kick-Off [[link removed]] - Join Team Walkinshaw for their special election canvass kickoff to help send James Walkinshaw to Congress! With just weeks until Election Day, every conversation we have at the doors can make the difference in this fast-moving race. We’re building a grassroots team of neighbors talking to neighbors—sharing James’s record of public service, his progressive vision, and the urgency of this moment.
* 4 PM: Fundraiser in Lake Braddock [[link removed]] - Join James Walkinshaw to build on the overwhelming support from June’s Firehouse Primary and take the fight straight to our MAGA opponent. He’s running to be another rubber stamp for Trump in Congress—pushing a dangerous agenda that threatens our rights, our federal workforce, and our democracy. We can’t afford to let that happen, and we need all hands on deck to keep Virginia’s 11th District blue on September 9th.

** May Nivar for HD-57 fundraiser featuring Rep. Ted Lieu
Wednesday, July 23 @ 7:00 PM
Address provided upon RSVP
Rep. Ted Lieu, Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus , and retired U.S. Air Force Reserve JAG officer, is scheduled to attend. May Nivar is an exceptional candidate who is primed to flip a seat from the Republicans in likely the most contested seat in the House of Delegates, VA-57, which was lost by only 715 votes in 2023. The district voted nine points toward Kamala Harris over Donald Trump, making this the most opportune pickup for Democrats and the most defended seat in Virginia. It will cost us a lot of money to compete here. Our Dems in NOVA should do everything we can to support her.
